Cake

Last night at Bible study we were talking about "True Riches." The world looks at material gain as a way of being better than someone else and yet God could care less. He wants a relationship with us and when we have that we have found "True Riches." So, Kara my youth leader gives us this analogy, Oh it was good I had her repeat it a second time. I hope I do it justice.

Cake is like our relationship with God. We can have all the stuff and yet not have a good cake, it is when we read the directions exactly that the cake turns out perfectly. Same with our relationship with God, when we have read the Bible (our instructions) and do what it says, our lives will be in perfect relationship with God. Wow! So good, like cake.
